What you'll do: Lead critical projects within the organisation's Cyber Security Programme, owning key initiatives that strengthen security frameworks Manage vulnerabilities through scanning, analysis, and remediation tracking to minimise risks Oversee cloud security, including cloud posture management and securing cloud environments such as Azure Implement and enforce best practices in Identity & Access Management to ensure secure configurations Collaborate with the Security Operations Centre (SOC) on detection, response, and incident management activities Maintain and optimise email security solutions such as Mimecast and Material Security, including threat mitigation and authentication protocols Manage endpoint security systems like CrowdStrike Falcon Align technical controls with standards such as ISO 27001, PCI-DSS and SOC2, contributing to audits and compliance efforts Investigate security incidents, supporting forensic analysis and incident reporting Monitor emerging security trends, recommend improvements, and implement innovative solutions to stay ahead of evolving threats Required Skills: Strong working knowledge of industry standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and PCI DSS Proven experience managing vulnerability scans, cloud security, and endpoint security tools Familiarity with email security protocols, threat management, and security best practices Ability to work independently, proactively, and with meticulous attention to detail Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly Experience working with or alongside managed Security Operations Centres (SOCs) Nice to Have Skills: Professional certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CASP+, AZ-500 or equivalent Experience with forensic investigations and incident response activities Knowledge of additional security frameworks like NIST, CIS, or industry-specific standards Familiarity with compliance and audit processes within ISO, PCI-DSS or SOC2 environments Preferred Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology or a related field Several years of practical experience in security engineering or related roles within fast-paced, global organisations Other Requirements: Ability to contribute to internal and external audits to ensure regulatory and contractual compliance Willingness to stay current with emerging security threats, industry trends, and technological advancements Position is based in London, UK, with possible travel as required for audits or security assessments If you are passionate about defending organisations from cyber threats and thrive in a collaborative, innovative environment, we want to hear from you.
