Removals Driver/Porter Location: GU35 Salary: Starting from 32,000 per annum Hours: Full-time, Permanent Are you a reliable and physically fit Driver/Porter looking for a hands-on role with variety and responsibility? Were looking for experienced Removals Driver/porter to join our clients team and play a key role in delivering excellent service to our clients customers. About the Role As a removals driver/porter, youll take full responsibility for the company vehicle, ensuring every load is transported safely and efficiently from collection to delivery. Youll also assist with packing, loading, and unloading, so a good level of physical fitness is essential. Key Responsibilities Operate a commercial vehicle safely and reliably, taking responsibility for the vehicle and its load at all times. Carry out daily vehicle and safety checks, perform routine maintenance (oil, water, etc.), and report any defects. Ensure the vehicle is clean, roadworthy, and compliant with Road Traffic Legislation and operating limits. Work in accordance with Health & Safety regulations, Safe Systems at Work procedures, and Quality System policies (ISO9002). Accurately complete all required vehicle and delivery paperwork.. Recommend improvements to loading and unloading processes to the Operations Controller. About You Hold a valid 3.5Tonne Licence. Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, professionalism, and customer service. Be physically fit and able to handle the demands of removals work. Have a positive, can-do attitude and a focus on teamwork.
