Join our successful international client in the next phase of their UK expansion as Trainee Estimator . We are seeking a candidate with solid experience in a commercial environment, with excellent customer service skills and some experience of working within engineering or similar. You will prepare, process, and submit quotations from customer enquiries from catalogue & bespoke product ranges. As Trainee Estimator , you will own and manage your own quotes, updating records and liaising with internal & external teams ensuring the client's requirements are met. Main Responsibilities: Ensure all key information is obtained in order to offer a suitable solution for the client project. Ensure that the correct pricing standards are adopted for the appropriate client / project. Provide excellent customer service, being helpful, courteous, and professional at all times Ensure all opportunities for cross-selling are achieved. Skills/Knowledge: Problem solving Numeracy and analytical thinking. Competent in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Excel. Possess energy, drive, ambition. Positive work ethic and a keen attention to detail. Salary & Benefits: Salary will be up to 31K (depending on experience). 28 days holiday plus bank. Car parking. Kitchen and lunch facilities.
