On behalf of NatWest, we are looking for a Project Manager on a contract basis until the end of 2026 , based in Edinburgh , with hybrid working . NatWest is a major UK retail bank, providing every day banking services to over 17 million retail customers. The banks expertise and services span across Business Services, Corporate banking, Wealth Management, Group Functions, Retail and Investment Banking. Purpose of the Role: As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of projects, ensuring delivery within agreed time, cost and quality constraints, while effectively managing associated risks. The role will support multiple initiatives across the supply chain, helping to deliver change and improvement through a range of projects. These may include the automation of existing manual processes, upgrade releases of existing systems, and the implementation of agentic and general AI solutions across a range of business processes. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for: Preparing and taking ownership of project plans, controls and resource plans, ensuring alignment with wider programme plans Identifying, tracking, managing and mitigating project risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies Coordinating federated resources throughout the project lifecycle while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships Analysing problem and opportunity statements and preparing estimates for approval Supporting the creation of financial business cases to underpin delivery decisions Tracking and reporting project costs to ensure delivery within agreed budgets and governance frameworks The skills you'll need: Proven experience delivering projects using both traditional (waterfall) and agile methodologies within large organisations Experience delivering projects focused on system and process change Strong stakeholder management skills, with a collaborative approach and the ability to build productive relationships across multiple levels Ability to quickly learn and understand new business processes to effectively contextualise project activities and outcomes Experience using, or the ability to rapidly adopt, project management tools and methodologies such as Planview, Jira and Idea to Value Next steps With an inclusive culture, excellent learning and development, and focus on wellbeing, there are plenty of reasons why NatWest is a great place to work in a temporary job.
