Haematology Consultant (Long-term / Permanent) | Bath | ASAP StartWe’re recruiting a Consultant Haematologist for an ASAP start in Bath, available on a long-term or permanent basis. This is a senior post within a supportive, multidisciplinary environment, with a strong focus on high-quality clinical care, service development, and education.The roleYou’ll work in a senior consultant capacity, supporting the haematology service across inpatient and outpatient settings, and contributing to laboratory and transfusion activities.Key responsibilities include:Provide senior clinical leadership covering ward referrals and outpatient clinicsContribute to laboratory work and clinical-lab liaison where appropriateLead and participate in MDT meetingsOversee and supervise Junior Doctors, providing mentoring and support as neededDeliver transfusion medicine activities, including:Transfusion oversight and clinical inputTeam meetings and service collaborationEducation sessions for general medical staffAbout youGMC registered with appropriate specialist registration (or eligibility)Confident working independently at consultant levelStrong communication and leadership skills, with a collaborative MDT approachInterest or experience in transfusion medicine and staff education is highly valuedWhat’s on offerLong-term contract or permanent appointmentASAP startBath-based role with an excellent quality of life and strong clinical teams
