We are currently recruiting for a skilled Yard Operations Supervisor. Location: Longcross, Surrey, KT16 0EF Salary: Competitive Salary and Benefits package Hours: 40 Hour Week: Mon - Fri , 7am - 4pm About Us: ADF is the UK's largest provider of premium production facilities to the film and TV industry. ADF is the only high volume, UK-based operator to provide a fully managed, 24/7 service, with dedicated account management, and experienced operational staff at production locations to support the services provided. This is absolutely key for the global clients it now supports. Yard Operations Supervisor - The Role: The Yard Operations Supervisor will oversee day-to-day yard activities, ensuring trailers, vehicles, and equipment are clean, correctly positioned, and ready for production. You will lead and coordinate the cleaning team, manage stock and consumables, and maintain operational efficiency in line with production schedules. Yard Operations Supervisor - Responsibilities: - Strategically plan cleaning team workloads based on production schedules, trailer turnaround priorities, and ad-hoc requests - Conduct daily yard inspections to ensure trailers, generators, and other mobile assets are correctly parked, accessible, and ready for use - Supervise the loading and unloading of trailers, ensuring correct placement for production access and operational flow - Assist the HOD during inspections and complete detailed inspection reports, ensuring all findings are accurately recorded and communicated - Maintain regular communication with the Logistics/Yard Manager to stay updated on upcoming jobs, completions, and Account Manager requirements - Monitor and respond to online consumables requests, confirming collection or delivery arrangements Yard Operations Supervisor - You: - Ability to lead, motivate, and support a diverse team - Previous experience in a logistics, yard, or operational supervision role - Strong planning, organizational, and multitasking skills - Excellent communication and team coordination skills - Strong attention to detail, with a proactive, solution-focused approach and commitment to operational efficiency - Ability to work flexibly to meet the demands of production schedules We offer - Benefits: - A competitive salary - Pension / Life Assurance - 28 days Holiday increasing with each year of service to a max of 33. - Ongoing training and development.
