Contracts Manager Home-based / Permanent PAYE Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Surrey, Uxbridge, Middlesex, Oxfordshire 43,000 - 47,000 plus car or allowance and a comprehensive benefits package The successful Contracts Manager will be home-based and will need to reside in or close to one of the following postcode areas HP, OX, SL, HA, UB, RG, GU, KT Working as part of a strong team with office support you will be dealing with domestic property repairs (insurance reinstatement works) within a designated patch. Ideally, this would suit a Contracts Manager with insurance industry experience OR someone who is keen to expand their current skills and experience (private or social housing residential repairs, refurbishments, renovations) into specialising within the insurance industry. Genuine opportunities for development are on offer for this Contracts Manager to progress into a more senior roles/specialisms and full training 'support is available to gain qualifications & memberships. You will need to be able to build a scope of works using a scoping tool/schedule of rates, be confident with IT and managing your own workload/WIP. Contracts Manager responsibilities Oversee a small portfolio of property reinstatement projects (domestic & commercial) Survey properties, produce scop of works and schedule repairs/redecoration required Manage repairs projects to completion (inc. cost management) Ensure Health & Safety / CDM compliance & carry out site audits Manage existing contractors in your area and be open to identify new contractors for addition to the network as required Audit on-going works and the contractors in your area Contracts Manager experience required Experience in contract managing property repairs, refurbishments or renovation projects is essential. Some insurance claim damage or subsidence experience/knowledge is of benefit but not essential. Experience working for a contractor dealing with domestic property repairs/refurbishments Knowledge of insurance claims or fire/flood/water/structural/subsidence damage to properties would be highly advantageous (not essential) Good knowledge of; CDM, Asbestos, H&S, Party Wall Act Trades/contractor management experience Excellent customer service, communication & organisational skills, be IT literacy and a full UK driving licence Additional Information In addition to the salary (negotiable around 43-47k depending upon experience) you will get a company car or car allowance and a comprehensive benefits package.
