Fettler Based in Sunbury-on-Thames, Surrey Mon-Fri days, 8-12 weeks initially, ASAP start A leading designer and manufacturer of specialist safety equipment for hazardous areas serving a global client base across a range of industries is actively seeking an experienced Fettler Metalwork finisher to join their in-house Manufacturing Team. Their site in Sunbury is easily reached by both road (2 minutes from the M3) with free on-site parking and public transport (few minutes walk from Kempton Park train station) where they have in-house design, fabrication and testing facilities. This is an exciting time to be joining them as they are continuing to expand their core product ranges, integrating technological developments, and the development of bespoke solutions to meet specific customer needs means that your work will be interesting and varied. As a Fettler you will be working with 316L stainless steel mostly up to 3mm. You will be ensuring visible surface areas of metalwork is finished, preparing welded products (tidying welds, deburring, etc), and finishing welded products. You will need to be able to read engineering and manufacturing drawings. In return they are willing to pay an attractive hourly rate (please state your requirement upon application). Applications are invited from experienced Fettlers / Sheet Metal Workers, Fabricators or workshop technicians. We are keen to find workshop members with a real passion for attention to detail.
