The Best Connection Mansfield are currently recruiting MIG Welders to join a well-established steel fabrication company based in Alfreton This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a dynamic and innovative business known for its high-quality products and commitment to continuous improvement. Interviews: If you're interested in this role, you'll first attend an interview at our Mansfield branch, followed by a potential on-site interview with the client. Roles and Responsibilities: MIG weld thin steel tubing using jigs (no drawings required). Assemble products to a high and consistent standard. Carry out quality checks and ensure zero defects throughout the process. Maintain welding equipment and follow all safety procedures, including correct PPE usage. Support a lean, safe workplace and look for process improvements. Assist with picking and packing spares orders when required. Working Hours & Pay Rate: Monday to Friday, 07:30am to 16:30pm Pay rate: Competitive (details provided at interview) Previous MIG welding experience is essential and familiarity with Lean principles is an advantage.
