Job DescriptionSalary range: 47389 - 58225Ensure you read the information regarding this opportunity thoroughly before making an application.FTE: 1 (35 hours/week)Contract type: Fixed Term (36 months)Closing date: 25/01/2026Aunique and exciting opportunity has arisen for an Endpoint Security Engineer tolead the strategic design, selection, implementation and deployment of thetechnologies used to manage the end user computing environments at theUniversity with a strategic focus on device security controls. The successfulapplicant will manage the delivery of multiple services based on modernMicrosoft Endpoint Management tools including the implementation of MobileDevice Management.The postholder will be responsible for defining thestrategic design of the service, working closely with the wider Universitycommunity to deliver a world leading service. The postholder will work withinthe End User Computing team, collaborating with the Cybersecurity team to strengthen the security posture ofUniversity-owned digital assets by implementing and continuously improvingsecure build configurations across all University-managed devices by adoptingCIS Benchmarks, Attack Surface Reduction (ASR) rules, and Intune-based policyenforcement.This role requires engagement with both technical andnon-technical stakeholders from across the University and liaison with thevarious service desks across the campus.
