An international engineering organisation is seeking experienced Mechanical Technicians with a mechanical and/or mechatronics background to support a short-term industrial installation project within a nutrition / flour mill environment in the UK.The initial project will run for 3–4 weeks, with the intention of trialling collaboration and building a long-term working relationship for future projects, subject to performance and project requirements.Role ResponsibilitiesHands-on mechanical installation and assembly of industrial equipmentHoisting, positioning, and placement of machinery according to layout drawingsMechanical and electrical routing and installationSupporting mechatronic and basic electrical tasks as requiredParticipating in daily toolbox talks and safety briefingsWorking closely with an onsite lead engineer and installation teamEnsuring all work is carried out in line with health 'safety proceduresRequired Skills & ExperienceProven experience as a Mechanical Technician / Mechanical Fitter / Mechatronics TechnicianStrong hands-on installation experience in industrial environmentsAbility to work from layout drawings and technical plansExperience with routing, assembly, and equipment installationComfortable working in industrial / nutrition / food processing facilitiesEnglish-speakingAvailable to work onsite for the full project durationProject StructureInitial 2 weeks focused on mechanical installationFinal week(s) involving mechatronics / electrical-related tasksOne shift pattern50–60 hours per weekMonday–Friday, with Saturday work possibleWhy This Opportunity?Clearly defined, short-term project with immediate impactOpportunity to prove capability on-site and be considered for future UK and European projectsWork alongside an experienced onsite lead and established installation teamAccommodation will be provided locally, or allowances can be discussed where applicable.Interested?
