The OverviewAn opportunity has become available for an Electrical Technician to join a growing engineering team. This role will involve assembling and wiring electrical systems to a high standard, working from technical instructions and schematic drawings within a structured production environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAssemble and wire electrical systems and sub-assemblies in line with technical documentation.Build electrical looms and circuitry for equipment.Follow written instructions and work under guidance from supervisory staff where required.Ensure all work meets quality standards and is completed accurately.Adhere to all health and safety procedures, taking responsibility for personal safety and that of others.Inspect completed work, identify issues, and escalate any non-conformances for corrective action.The CandidateBackground in electrical engineering or electrical assembly.GCSE-level education (or equivalent), with a minimum of four passes including Maths and English preferred.Holds a recognised electrical qualification (City & Guilds, BTEC, NVQ, or similar).Able to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.Confident using standard electrical tools and techniques.Quality-focused, with the ability to self-check work and raise issues when required.Salary£25,000 – £32,000 per annum, depending on experience.Overtime and performance-related incentives available.
