National Account Manager – Drive Commercial Growth in Food ManufacturingLocation: Birmingham – HybridSalary: £42,000–£50,000 / NegotiableThe Opportunity:Are you passionate about building customer relationships and driving commercial success? We are seeking a National Account Manager to support a growing portfolio in Retailer and Discounter channels. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative, fast-paced commercial team, contribute to key account growth, and play a pivotal role in product launches and strategic planning.Key Responsibilities:Own a portfolio of accounts, build strong relationships, meet commercial targets, and identify growth opportunitiesSupport strategic planning and execution for key accounts alongside the Commercial ManagerLead and coordinate product launches across channels, ensuring cross-functional collaborationAssist with commercial planning, monitoring performance, and providing analysis to support decisionsAct as a key liaison between sales, supply chain, and finance teamsManage account administration, project trackers, and customer-facing documentsPrepare engaging presentations and business reviews tailored to customer strategyTrack project timelines and proactively follow up to ensure alignment across teamsCandidate Profile:1–2 years’ experience in a commercial, sales support, or national account role (Food Manufacturing, FMCG, retail, or discounter experience preferred)Strong customer relationship and account management skillsCommercially aware with understanding of pricing, promotions, and P&L impactExcellent project coordination and organizational skillsAnalytical thinker, confident working with data to support decisionsClear, confident communication skills for both internal and external stakeholdersTeam player with proactive, collaborative approachProficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and OutlookBenefits:Competitive salary, hybrid working, and the opportunity to be part of a fast-growing commercial team.
