HR Manager Annual Salary: 16.94 per hour Location: Belfast Job Type: Full-time, Temporary A leading charity based in Belfast is seeking an HR Manager to join their team. This is a temporary position with an immediate start, offering a full-time role with occasional evening or weekend work. The HR Manager will be responsible for leading and delivering the organisations HR strategy, ensuring effective HR operations across the full employee lifecycle. Day-to-day of the role: Provide expert advice and guidance to senior management on all complex HR issues. Contribute to the development and delivery of the companys Health and Culture strategy. Report against objectives to measure the effectiveness of the HR function and implement corrective actions as required. Develop and implement employee engagement activities in collaboration with key stakeholders. Design and deliver development workshops in areas of HR best practice. Complete an in-depth review of HR Policies and Procedures to ensure they align with best practices. Participate in audits to ensure consistent and fair implementation of policies and procedures. Manage and maintain HR information systems and develop standard documentation for all employees. Prepare quarterly HR management information reports to support continuous improvement and review of performance. Oversee and support the preparation of statutory reports. Manage budgets relevant to the HR function to ensure value for money. Develop a standardised set of processes/systems/databases for the HR function. Required Skills & Qualifications: Third level qualification in Human Resources or a business-related discipline, or a recognised professional Human Resources qualification at a minimum of level 5. At least 3 years of generalist HR experience, or 5 years without the specified qualification. Membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. Demonstrable experience in managing complex disciplinary and grievance cases compliant with NI Employment Legislation. Proven experience of developing strong consultative relationships with key stakeholders on HR strategies. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work as part of a team and independently. Ability to manage and prioritise a busy workload. Full UK driving licence and ability to travel as required by the post.
