We’re working with a Medical Device company in South Wales that is looking for a hands-on electronics contract focused on improving and validating existing hardware designs.This role is suited to an engineer who’s comfortable at the bench, enjoys solving real analogue problems, and can add value quickly in a lab environment.The work will involve:Improving and refining existing analogue / mixed-signal PCB designsSupporting ongoing and new hardware developmentHands-on debugging, test, and lab-based verificationInvestigating noise, stability, and signal integrity issuesCreating and executing structured test and verification activitiesWorking on low-voltage electronics (≈24V systems) within a controlled lab environmentWhat we’re looking for:Strong experience with analogue and mixed-signal electronicsProven PCB schematic and layout experience (Altium preferred)Confident with bench-level debugging (scopes, probes, power analysis, etc.)Comfortable working from existing designs and improving themBackground in test, verification, or validation rather than purely conceptual designExperience in regulated or safety-critical environments is a plusImportant to know:This is a hands-on, on-site role with the flexibility to work remotely which is driven by the work task.We’re looking for someone who can add value quickly, not ramp for monthsThis is not a production test or technician roleContract basis.
