SENIOR MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT MULTI-SITE CARE & OPERATIONSLOCATION: Hybrid working (Scotland and wider UK flexible base)Compass Associates are supporting the confidential search for a Senior Management Accountant to join a growing, multi-site care and support organisation in a key finance role.This is a hands-on position focused on strengthening financial reporting, balance sheet control and financial governance across a complex, multi-site environment. Working closely with the Group Financial Controller and wider leadership team, the successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring reporting accuracy while providing meaningful financial insight to support operational decision-making.THE ROLEAs Senior Management Accountant, you will operate at the centre of the finance function with responsibility for:Leading the preparation of accurate and timely monthly management accountsOwning the month-end process including journals, accruals and prepaymentsProducing high-quality reporting with clear commentary and variance analysisSupporting budgeting, forecasting and rolling cashflow reportingFull ownership of balance sheet reconciliations and control schedulesStrengthening financial controls, processes and documentationSupporting audit processes and acting as a key finance contact for auditorsPartnering with operational stakeholders to explain performance and cost driversProviding insight on cost control, efficiencies and financial riskSupporting decision-making through modelling and scenario analysisIdentifying and implementing improvements to reporting, systems and processesMentoring and supporting junior members of the finance teamThis role offers strong exposure across the organisation and will suit a technically strong accountant who enjoys both detailed financial control and commercial involvement.ABOUT YOUThis opportunity will suit a technically capable and commercially aware finance professional who brings:ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified or part-qualified (or equivalent)Experience producing management accounts within a multi-site or complex environmentStrong technical accounting and balance sheet control experienceAdvanced Excel capability and confidence working with large data setsExperience supporting budgeting, forecasting and cashflow reportingConfidence partnering with operational and non-finance stakeholdersA proactive and detail-focused approach to financial control and reportingExperience within care, healthcare, hospitality or other multi-site sectors (desirable)Exposure to Power BI or similar reporting tools (desirable)LOCATION AND WORKING ARRANGEMENTSHybrid role with flexibility on base locationIdeal for candidates based in Scotland or the wider UKBlend of home working and engagement with finance and operational leadershipCANDIDATE SUITABILITY NOTEThis role requires experience producing management accounts and operating within a multi-site or operational environment.Applications can only be considered from candidates meeting this level of experience.WANT TO APPLY?Submit your CV and well be in touch to discuss compatibility.Contact: : 0161 527 9638RECOMMENDATIONSCompass Associates Ltd are working in partnership on this position.If you are not interested but know someone who is, we offer 500 in vouchers for successful recommendations.
