GROUP FINANCIAL CONTROLLER MULTI-SITE CARE & OPERATIONSLOCATION: Hybrid working (Flexible base - Scotland and wider UK services)Compass Associates are supporting the search for a commercially focused Group Financial Controller to join a growing, multi-site care and support organisation in a senior finance leadership capacity.This is a high-impact role combining strategic finance, commercial insight and operational support. Working closely with the CFO and senior leadership team, the successful candidate will play a key role in driving financial performance, improving reporting infrastructure and supporting long-term business planning across the organisation.THE ROLEAs Group Financial Controller, you will work closely with senior operational and executive leadership with responsibility for:Business partnering with senior operational leaders to analyse and improve commercial performance across multiple servicesProviding meaningful financial insight, analysis and reporting to support strategic decision-makingLeading and developing the finance team, overseeing day-to-day finance operations and outputsProduction and improvement of management accounts, MI reporting and performance dashboardsDelivering budgets, forecasts and rolling cashflow modellingVariance analysis across key revenue streams, payroll and operational costsSupporting continued development of financial systems, reporting tools and data visibilityDriving process improvement and efficiencies across finance operationsSupporting audit processes and statutory reporting requirementsWorking closely with the CFO on long-term financial planning and strategic projectsThis role offers significant visibility and influence across the organisation and will suit a commercially minded finance leader comfortable operating in a fast-paced, multi-site environment.ABOUT YOUThis opportunity will suit an experienced and commercially focused finance leader who brings:Fully qualified accountant status (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)Proven experience in a Financial Controller or senior finance leadership roleStrong commercial finance and business partnering capabilityExperience leading and developing finance teamsBackground within multi-site or operationally complex organisationsAdvanced Excel and strong financial modelling capabilityConfidence presenting financial information to senior stakeholdersExperience improving financial systems, reporting or MI infrastructureA proactive, solutions-focused and collaborative leadership styleLOCATION AND WORKING ARRANGEMENTSHybrid role with flexibility on base locationIdeal for candidates based in Scotland or the wider UK with ability to travel as requiredBlend of home working and regular engagement with senior leadership teamsCANDIDATE SUITABILITY NOTEThis role requires proven experience operating at Financial Controller level within a multi-site or operational environment.Applications can only be considered from candidates meeting this level of experience.WANT TO APPLY?Submit your CV and well be in touch to discuss compatibility.Contact: : 0161 527 9638RECOMMENDATIONSCompass Associates Ltd are working in partnership on this position.If you are not interested but know someone who is, we offer 500 in vouchers for successful recommendations.
