Electrical Shift Leader Liverpool Street, City of London 58,000 60,000 per annum An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrical Shift Leader to join a brand-new, flagship commercial development in the heart of Liverpool Street. This is a high-profile site offering excellent career progression, High Voltage training, and the chance to work for a market-leading facilities management provider. As the Electrical Shift Leader, you will take responsibility for the delivery of planned preventative and reactive maintenance across all electrical and associated mechanical systems on site. You will lead a shift engineer, oversee specialist subcontractors, carry out HV switching operations, and act as a key point of contact for the client, reporting directly to the Account Manager. Key Responsibilities Carry out PPMs and reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical plant Operate, maintain, and fault-find on: Single & three-phase power Motors, generators (on/off load testing) UPS systems LV/HV switching, shutdowns & switchgear Emergency lighting & fire alarm testing AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, CRAC units Sprinkler systems, pumps, belts, bearings, and seals BMS operation Perform plant and system isolation in line with safety regulations Ensure all corrective works are completed in compliance with statutory regulations and site standards Promote safe systems of work, quality standards, and best practice Organise and supervise subcontractors Complete logbooks, RAMS, reports, and permits to work Raise and close jobs via PDA systems Liaise confidently with client representatives regarding repairs and site activity Requirements Fully qualified in Electrical Engineering / Installations (City & Guilds, NVQ, EAL or equivalent) Minimum 5 years' experience in commercial building maintenance Proven ability to lead and support another engineer on shift Strong client-facing and communication skills Excellent knowledge of commercial electrical and mechanical plant systems Salary & Package 58,000 60,000 per annum Continental shift pattern (days & nights) High Voltage training provided Work on a brand-new flagship site Clear route to develop leadership and management experience Ongoing technical and professional training Company pension scheme Join a well-established, market-leading organisation TPBN1_UKTJ
