We have 4 full-time contracts available immediately, supporting young people in a beautifully renovated, spacious 4-bedded home that also operates a solo provision for emergency crisis placements.This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced mental health support workers who are genuinely committed to therapeutic approaches and making a real difference in the lives of vulnerable children and young people.Key ResponsibilitiesProviding high-quality, trauma-informed and therapeutic support to young people in a residential settingBuilding positive, trusting relationships with young people to support their emotional wellbeing and developmentReading and following individual care plans, contributing to handovers and documentationSupporting young people with daily routines, community engagement, and age-appropriate independenceWorking within a small, close-knit team to maintain a safe, nurturing environmentSupporting young people in crisis situations within the solo provision as requiredAdhering to safeguarding procedures and the home's therapeutic model at all timesShift PatternsMorning shifts: 7:00am 2:30pmLate shifts: 2:30pm 9:00pm34 weekday shifts per week with alternating weekendsA mix of morning and late shiftsWhat We're Looking ForPrevious experience working within CAMHS, residential childcare, or mental health support settingsA strong understanding of and commitment to therapeutic approachesAbility to remain calm, professional, and empathetic under pressureConfident working with young people who may be presenting in crisisFull UK driving licence and own vehicle preferred the home is not easily accessible by public transportCandidates local to the Colchester/Stanway area are strongly encouraged to applyWhy Apply? xjdpvnf Immediate starts availableConsistent, ongoing full-time workSupportive, dedicated team within a well-resourced, modern homeOpportunity to grow with the service as capacity increases To apply or find out more, please contact the CAMHS Professionals team today.
