Category Manager Opportunity | FMCG | North West I am supporting a leading, well-established FMCG manufacturer in their search for a commercially driven Category Manager to strengthen their North West-based team. This position sits at the heart of the commercial function, giving you real influence over category performance and long-term growth. The Role You will take ownership of shaping and executing category plans that deliver tangible results. Working cross-functionally, you will: Build and implement insight-led growth strategies Translate shopper and retailer data into actionable recommendations Partner closely with key retail accounts to enhance joint business plans Support and guide customer-led NPD projects Develop promotional strategies that drive sales and category value Collaboration will be key, as you will work alongside commercial, marketing, and product development teams to steer category direction and unlock new opportunities. About You To succeed in this role, you will bring: At least four years' experience in Category, Shopper, or Customer Marketing within FMCG Strong experience managing and influencing retail stakeholders Confidence using Kantar and retailer data to create persuasive, insight-driven narratives A commercially astute, proactive mindset with the ability to influence at multiple levels A genuine enthusiasm for food and consumer trends In return, the business offers clear progression pathways, competitive benefits, and a supportive, ambitious culture.
