PLC Controls Engineer (UK & International Travel)Salary: £30,000 to £45,000 basic + overtime (up to 20%) OTE: £50,000 to £60,000 Location: UK based with international travel Hours: 40 hours per weekWe are recruiting on behalf of a growing engineering business looking to appoint a PLC Controls Engineer to support UK and international projects across multiple regions.This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys travel, variety, and working on technically challenging projects worldwide.The RoleThe successful candidate will be involved in the full lifecycle of automation projects, including:UK and international travel (minimum 3 months per year, up to 6 months)PLC programming, primarily using Siemens systemsProject management and client-facing project deliveryTesting and commissioning of systemsSoftware and language programming such as Python, C++, or similarWorking on projects across America, India, the Middle East, and parts of AfricaExperience, Skills & QualificationsBackground in controls, automation, or PLC engineeringExperience with Siemens PLCs preferredWillingness to travel internationally for extended periodsOpen to engineers from various industry backgrounds (heavy industry ideal but not essential)Training available for engineers who need development in certain areasSuitable for both experienced engineers and junior engineers looking to progressTraining & ProgressionFull training and support providedClear progression opportunities within the engineering team Package & Benefits£30,000 to £45,000 basic salary DOE Overtime paid up to 20% on basicCompany van, fuel card, phone and laptopPension schemeIf interested please apply for a confidental chat you can email me on TPBN1_UKTJ
