Workforce ManagerFull Time | Monday–Friday 09:00–17:00Up to£50,000 per annumReporting to Director of OperationsAre you a workforce planning specialist who thrives on structure, data, and operational excellence?We’re looking for a Workforce Manager to take full ownership of clinical workforce planning, scheduling and utilisation across a fast-growing mental health and neurodevelopmental service. This is a pivotal role ensuring the business has the right clinicians, with the right skills, in the right place, at the right time.You’ll sit at the heart of operations - bridging clinical leadership, recruitment, payroll and finance - ensuring services run efficiently, profitably, and in line with patient demand.You will lead the Clinical Liaison / Scheduling team and take end-to-end responsibility for:Workforce Planning & Demand Management:Own demand and capacity modelling across Private, Adult NHS and Children’s servicesTranslate referral forecasts into clear workforce requirementsIdentify gaps, risks and surplus capacityAlign recruitment pipelines with service growthScheduling & Rota Management:Lead all clinical rota creation and optimisationMaximise clinic utilisation and patient throughputReduce DNAs, late cancellations and underused capacityHold clinicians accountable to agreed session templates and standardsLeave & Availability Management:Oversee holiday and absence approvalsEnsure real-time workforce visibilityArrange cover to minimise patient impactOnboarding & Readiness: Coordinate induction, training and deploymentEnsure clinicians are scheduled in line with scope and competencySet clear productivity and reporting expectationsPayroll & Data Integrity:Validate payroll (employed & contractor clinicians)Reconcile shifts vs schedulesResolve pay queries quickly and accuratelyMaintain high-quality workforce reporting dataPerformance & Reporting:Track KPIs: utilisation, fill rates, cancellations, cost to serveIdentify inefficiencies and capacity bottlenecksEscalate workforce performance concerns appropriatelyIf you'd be interested in knowing more about thsi opportunity - please contact me on:02394 211 142
