The Best Connection are recruiting for a Night shift/Late Shift Warehouse Team leader for one of our clients in Bedford. This role is a temp to perm opportunity to join one of the UK's largest distributors of plumbing supplies. The shift pattern is Sunday-Thursday from 18:00 - 03:00 hrs, pay rate is 15.38 per hour. We are accepting applications who hold in date accredited Reach Truck/Counterbalance licences and at least 2-3 years supervisory experience. Responsibilities of the Night shift Warehouse Team Leader: Motivate, lead and coach a team of warehouse operatives Monitor and assign daily tasks to ensure timely and accurate order picking Carry out regular team briefings/meetings to communication expectations, goals and updates Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to and enforcing EHS policies and procedures Conduct and record keep safety inspections and report any hazards to resolution. Follow all HR regulations and maintain a positive and productive working environment Track and report on any KPI's for the team - identifying any training needs Requirements of the Night shift Warehouse Team Leader: Must have at least two years Warehouse supervisory knowledge and experience Strong knowledge of warehouse processes and procedures including health and safety and operational standards Conduct performance reviews and training activities to maximise team development and opportunities Strong attention to detail, conscientious and hard-working with the ability to lead the team to high performance standards Direct staff management experience, monitoring workflow and operational performance.
