Benefits for the role of SuDS Designer include (but are not limited to): Competitive salary (depending on skills and experience) Employee Pension Scheme Generous annual leave Flexible/hybrid working Dedication to your Continuing Professional Development (CPD), with good career progression opportunities An inclusive working environment, with a focus on innovative thinking Responsibilities for the role of SuDS Designer include: Producing detailed Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) designs for a variety of projects, particularly residential developments Contributing to planning applications and construction phases Developing a range of sustainable drainage and infrastructure solutions across the local region Collaborating with a team of experts in the field, contributing to a range of exciting projects Required skills and experience for the role of SuDS Designer include: A UK Degree (or equivalent qualification) in Civil Engineering, Hydrology, or a similar, relevant discipline Extensive experience of SuDS and wider Civil Engineering design, particularly for residential projects and new developments Excellent working knowledge of the relevant software systems, including AutoCAD, Causeway Flow, InfoDrainage/MicroDrainage, Civils 3D, etc. Substantial experience of producing detailed designs in support of planning applications and at varying stages of construction Competent understanding of the relevant Section Agreements (e.g., S104, S38, etc.) Good working knowledge of flood risk and mitigation, including Flood Risk Assessments, etc. Desirable skills and experience for the role of SuDS Designer include: A higher qualification in a relevant subject Possess Chartered Status with a relevant Professional Body (e.g., ICE, CIWEM, etc.), or actively working to attain this Possess a full, valid UK Driving Licence If you are interested in the role of SuDS Designer, please do not hesitate to contact Caroline Davis at Penguin Recruitment.
