Elevation Recruitment are seeking an experienced CNC Turner to join a well-established engineering business based in Sheffield. This is a long-term, days-based role offering further development opportunities. CNC Turner Location: Sheffield Shift: Day Shifts 40 hours per week Salary: 16.50 17.50 per hour Responsibilities Programming, setting, and operating 2 CNC Turning machines Working with Fanuc and Guide-I controls Producing components from small parts up to 700mm diameter Working with stainless steel and mild steel Operating Hyundai Vertical Lathes with Hydrafeed bar feed systems Working from detailed engineering drawings Managing your own workload and priorities Producing a variety of batch sizes, from one-offs to production runs Having input into job-related decision making Training provided for offline programming for the right candidate Requirements Apprenticeship trained / engineering qualified Minimum 5 years' CNC Turning experience Strong on-machine programming skills using Fanuc and Guide-I controls Ability to work independently and to tight tolerances Clean driving licence Benefits 16.50 17.50 per hour 8% pension contribution once probation is completed Overtime available Vitality healthcare scheme Ongoing training and development If this role would be of interest please click apply or contact Amy or Nicola for more information TPBN1_UKTJ
