Their platform helps organisations identify, manage, and mitigate large-scale risk and service disruption, using intelligent automation and real-time analytics.As they expand their UK go-to-market presence, they are hiring a Sales Engineer to join as one of the early technical GTM hires, supporting continued growth and customer adoption.About the RoleThis is a high-impact, early-stage builder role where you will lead the technical side of the sales cycle and help customers understand the value of the platform without overexposing proprietary capabilities. You'll work closely with Sales, Product, and Engineering, acting as a trusted technical advisor while contributing to GTM execution.If you enjoy startup environments, working with ambiguity, and helping scale revenue through strong technical sales execution, this role is for you.What You'll DoLead technical discovery, platform demos, and proof-of-value engagementsTranslate customer challenges into clear, outcome-focused technical solutionsPartner with Sales to support opportunities from qualification through technical closeDeliver tailored technical presentations and solution walkthroughsSupport technical evaluations, RFP/RFI responses, and solution designProvide structured feedback to Product and Engineering to support roadmap decisionsAct as the technical point of contact throughout the pre-sales lifecycleRequirements4+ years of experience in a cybersecurity space within sales engineering, infrastructure, or related technical roles.Experience supporting mid-market or enterprise sales cycles in a Sales Engineer or pre-sales capacityProven ability to support and influence revenue growth, including large and complex dealsSolid familiarity with DDoS attacks concepts, threat monitoring, and AI security(without requiring deep specialisation)Prior experience working with or supporting startup or high-growth environmentsStrong ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholdersExperience with cloud-based environments and modern tooling preferredUK-based, fully remote, and comfortable working across time zonesThis is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of a high-growth startup, playing a key role in shaping success within a cutting-edge cybersecurity ecosystem.
