QC SupervisorWe are delighted to be exclusively supporting a long-standing client with the hire of a brand new QC Supervisor position to support the ongoing expansion and growth of one their key facilities in the South-East of the UK.This position will be a hands on QC Chemist, taking a lead on running a range of tests and running the laboratory. It will be key to manage staff shift rotas, support technical issues, troubleshoot equipment and support the QC documentation process for the site.This is an excellent opportunity for an experience QC chemist who has either managed a small team or potential coached and mentored more junior members for some time, performing at a similar level. Given the expansion of the business, the scope for development is significant.For further information, please contact Mark Bux-Ryan.The ability to work shifts is necessary.Key experience:Experienced QC professional within a pharmaceutical GMP capacityTrack record and experience in day to day running of a laboratoryManaging rotas and workload managementTroubleshooting and supporting a team with day-to-day issuesExperience within HPLC and GC would be strongly preferredPeople management experience including recruiting and selecting teamsQC, quality, control, GMP, manufacturing, sterile, aseptic, analytical, validation, method, equipment, CQV, commissioning, installation, qualification, QMS, QA, testing, laboratory, manager, supervisor, leader, senior, HPLC, chromatography, GC, gas, liquid
