Role: Bid Assistant – (JPC-101)Location: Sevenoaks, Kent (On-site role)Sector: Public & Private Sector ConsultancySalary: £28,000 - £33,000OverviewWe are representing our client, a respected construction consultancy, in their search for a Bid Assistant to join their Sevenoaks office. They are looking for a keen individual to assist their Bid team.The role will involve assisting with the coordination of bids (PQQs/SQs/ITTs), accurately producing the content, formatting and ensuring the bid is submitted by the deadline.You will ideally have a background producing accurately typed content of large documents.Key ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will support the Bid Executive in the smooth operation of the work-winning process, which will involve the following:Maintaining a strong library of pre-written and re-usable content (e.g. company information, standard responses, technical content, staff CVs, project case studies, marketing material, graphics and photos)Collating, typing, filing and formatting content from various areas of the businessUsing online client portals to upload/download documents, raise questions and circulate responses and alertsManaging the team inbox and diaryCreating presentations for tender interviewsOther admin tasks as required by the bids team or wider business including admin, finance and support organising eventsEssential RequirementsAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining high level of accuracyStrong attention to detail with the ability to present information visuallyHighly motivated with outstanding organisational skillsExcellent English language (vocabulary), grammar and communication skills, both written and oralCool, calm, collected and diligentAbility to multi-task and prioritise workloadWorking independently and as part of a teamFlexibility to meet time pressures and deadlinesTime management and planningSoftware Skills & ExperienceEssentialMicrosoft Word, PowerPoint and ExcelOffice 365 including Outlook, SharePoint and TeamsAdobe Acrobat ProDesirable:Adobe InDesign or similar desktop publishing softwareMicrosoft VisioRewards and Benefits:Competitive salaryDiscretionary bonus incentivePension contributionsPrivate medical insuranceSupport towards professional qualifications (e.g., APMP)28 days holiday including bank holidays3–4 additional days during the Christmas periodOne day off for your birthdayInclusive, equal‐opportunity employer
