This is a great opportunity to build a long-term career.Due to ambitious growth plans and a very strong order book they are looking for a motivated and reliable Flexographic Print Operator to join their production team in Middlesbrough.As a Flexographic Rotary Press Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining flexographic rotary presses to produce high-quality printed products in line with customer specifications and production targets.You'll be working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where attention to detail, consistency, and teamwork are key.THE ROLEYou will operate flexographic printing presses Mark Andy 8 colour press with cold foil and lamination.Optional training on UV INKJET and digital variable data pressYou will be operating printing presses, including wide and/or narrow web flexographic pressesUV and water-based ink systemsYou will operate Inline finishing equipment (die-cutting, laminating, varnishing, etc.)Plate mounting and anilox systems(Full training will be provided on specific machinery where required.)Set up and run flexographic rotary presses efficiently and safelyAchieve consistent print quality to agreed standardsMonitor colour, registration, and print performance throughout productionCarry out basic maintenance and troubleshootingComplete production paperwork and quality checksWork closely with supervisors and team members to meet deadlinesFollow all health, safety, and quality proceduresMonitor machine performance and ensure consistent product qualityCarry out basic machine setup, adjustments, and routine maintenanceAssist with production tasks as requiredTHE PERSONPrevious print or machine experience is required for this roleA positive attitude and willingness to learn new skillsWillingness to work 12 hour shifts as and when required during peak periodsStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityGood communication and teamwork skillsProven experience as a Flexographic Rotary Press Operator would be advantageousStrong understanding of flexo printing processes and materials would be advantageousGood mechanical awareness and problem-solving skillsHigh attention to detail and commitment to qualityAbility to work independently and as part of a teamTO APPLYPlease send your updated CV to Harry Mann or apply direct by calling Westray Recruitment Group
