Band 7 Mammographer Hourly Rate: NegotiableLocation: South WestContract Type: Full-time, TemporaryStart Date: As soon as possibleAbout the RoleWe are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated HCPC-registered Radiographer with a Postgraduate Certificate in Mammography (or working towards it) to join our NHS Client.This is an excellent opportunity to play a vital role in delivering high-quality breast imaging services, supporting the early detection and diagnosis of breast disease, and making a real difference to the lives of our patients.Main Duties and ResponsibilitiesUndertake high-quality mammography imaging in accordance with departmental protocols and national standards.Ensure the delivery of compassionate, safe, and effective care for all service users.Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team to support screening and symptomatic services.Contribute to maintaining and improving clinical standards and service development.Supervise and support less experienced colleagues, including Radiographers and Assistants (if applicable).Essential CriteriaDiploma or Degree in RadiographyHCPC RegistrationPostgraduate Award in Mammography Practice (or working towards it)Evidence of continued professional development (CPD)Desirable CriteriaExperience in supervising Radiographers and/or Assistant PractitionersExperience in supporting the clinical education of colleaguesInterested or want to know more?Drop me a message here on LinkedIn or send your CV, and I’ll share full details and support you through the application process.
