You'll be right at the heart of site activity owning electrical safety, quality, and AP governance from pre-construction through to handover.This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in occupied buildings, enjoys solving real-world challenges, and takes pride in getting things right first time.The RoleReporting to the Electrical Authorising Engineer (AE), you'll:Oversee electrical safety and quality across multiple live sitesProvide AP governance, assurance and sign-offWork closely with construction managers, project teams and subcontractorsSupport projects through construction, commissioning and handoverProjects typically include £1m+ electrical works, often within hospital energy centres and critical infrastructure environments.What You'll Be Working OnLighting and electrical refurbishmentsBMS and controlsHV/LV systems and connections to electricity distribution networksBoiler plant rooms and CHP plants (beneficial)Complex works delivered in occupied, operational buildingsKey Focus AreasQSHEDay-to-day electrical safety leadership across sitesReview and challenge subcontractor RAMSIncident, near-miss and accident reportingEmbedding Dalkia safe systems of work at site levelPre-ConstructionIdentifying buildability, logistics and H&S risksSupporting construction phase plans and site-specific electrical proceduresConstruction & CommissioningSite inspections for quality, compliance and progressWitness testing with consultants and authoritiesEnsuring commissioning meets CIBSE, BSRIA and statutory standardsPost-ConstructionReviewing O&M manuals and supporting client handoverWhat We're Looking ForYou'll be a confident, driven professional with experience working for a Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractor, ideally as a b and comfortable operating in busy, live environments.Essential:LVAP accreditation (C&G Accredited LVAP Course)18th EditionC&G 2391 or 2394 & 2395 (or equivalent)ECS Gold CardSMSTS or SSSTSExperience delivering £1m+ complex electrical projectsStrong knowledge of HV/LV systems, BMS, lighting and distribution connectionsUnderstanding of CIBSE, HTMs, HBNs, BSENs and IET regulationsFull UK driving licence and own transportDesirable:Hospital / healthcare or energy centre experienceBoiler plant room or CHP exposureRecent asbestos awarenessIf you're an LVAP who wants more than just another project, and you're ready to make an impact from day one we'd love to hear from you.
