Ready to lead from the front while hitting your own targets?The RoleCura Technology is looking for a hands-on IT Sales Team Leader who can coach, motivate, and drive performance in a high-energy sales environment while maintaining personal sales contributions. This is not a purely strategic role – you'll actively sell alongside your team and support the Sales Manager in day-to-day operations.You'll lead from the front, delivering your own sales number and develop a team of Account Managers/Business Development Managers selling our comprehensive range of services such as Hardware and software Solutions, IT managed services portfolio, Cyber Security Solutions, VOIP & connectivity and any other relevant products, ensuring consistent pipeline activity, deal progression and revenue achievement.Critical requirement: You must have a proven background in IT Sales and IT managed services or Cyber security sales.What You'll DoSales Leadership & SupportCoach and motivate a team of AM's/BDM's selling Technology, IT managed services, cloud, cyber security, and telecomsConduct daily/weekly performance reviews – call quality, pipeline health, deal progressionShadow calls and client meetings to provide real-time coaching and feedbackSupport the Sales Manager with team performance and operational prioritiesJump into complex deals to assist closingYou will be responsible for your own sales targetsMonitor CRM activity and ensure accurate pipeline managementRun team huddles and team meetings to drive focus and energyPerformance ManagementHelp set and track team targets (revenue, meetings, conversion rates, deal sizes)Identify underperformance early and implement improvement plansConduct regular 1-2-1s focused on skills development and target achievementOperational ExcellenceEnsure your team follows sales processes and methodology consistentlyCollaborate with pre-sales, technical teams, and operations to remove blockersProvide accurate weekly/monthly forecasting to senior leadershipWork with marketing on lead quality and campaign effectivenessEssential ExperienceTeam lead/management experience is not required3+ years selling IT managed services, MSP solutions, or complex IT infrastructureProven track record closing deals £10k–£100k+ in Technology, IT services, cloud, cyber security, or managed supportProduct knowledge: Hardware & software, managed services, cloud solutions (Azure, AWS, M365), cyber security, network infrastructureUnderstanding of IT service delivery: SLAs, service contracts, ITIL, recurring revenue modelsExperience with technical sales cycles involving IT managers, CTOs, and business stakeholdersAdditional SkillsLeadership & Coaching:Ability to inspire, motivate, and develop sales professionalsStrong coaching skills with proven ability to improve performanceComfortable managing underperformance decisivelyCommunication & Collaboration:Excellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to build strong relationships with customers and internal teamsCommunicate complex IT solutions in business termsCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive base salary + commissionBenefits package: pension, wellbeing supportIncentives: recognition programmes, commission structureAbout Cura TechnologySpecialist provider of IT managed services, cyber security, telecoms, and cloud solutions.
