Title: Authorised Person (AP) - Lifting OperationsLocation: Salisbury (On-site)Contract: 12 MonthsRate: £874/Day Umbrella | £643.93/day PAYEClearance: Active SCWe are currently seeking an experienced Authorised Person (AP) – Lifting Operations to join a high-profile programme based in Salisbury. This is a critical role providing a single competent authority accountable for lifting assurance across site operations.This position offers the opportunity to take ownership of lifting governance, oversee complex heavy lifts and develop long-term internal resilience by mentoring and training a designated staff member to AP competency level.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as the single competent authority for lifting assuranceStandardise and govern lifting operations across sitesEnsure full compliance with Safe to Start and regulatory obligationsDevelop, implement and maintain lifting policy, processes and documentationPrepare, review and approve lifting plans and associated documentationOversee and supervise complex/heavy lifts when requiredReview and assure contract lift documentation prior to executionProvide professional advice and technical guidance on lifting operationsContribute to assurance activities (L1, L2 & L3)Attend and support governance meetings, reviews and working groupsTrain and develop a designated team member to AP levelEssential ExperienceProven experience managing and supervising complex lifting operationsAuthorised Person (AP) - Lifting Operations (experienced and competent)Strong knowledge of lifting legislation, LOLER, regulations and safety standardsExperience reviewing contract lift documentation and assurance processesFamiliarity with asset management practices (CAFM systems)Ability to analyse and review detailed technical documentationDemonstrable experience conducting L1, L2 & L3 assurance activitiesStrong leadership and stakeholder engagement skillsDesirableMembership of a recognised professional body (e.g. LEEA)Appointed Person (Lifting Operations) qualificationExperience within high-security environments
