CMM ProgrammerLocation: ElyContract: Full-Time, PermanentSalary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum DOEWe're recruiting for an experienced CMM Programmer to join a precision engineering business based near Cambridge. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity for someone with strong inspection capability and proven CMM programming experience.This role would suit a detail-focused quality professional who takes pride in delivering accurate inspection results and supporting high manufacturing standards.The RoleYou will be responsible for carrying out detailed inspection of precision components and programming CMM equipment to ensure products meet customer and regulatory requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesProgram and operate CMM equipment to inspect precision componentsPerform first-off, in-process, and final inspectionInterpret complex engineering drawings and GD&TProduce accurate inspection reports and quality documentationIdentify non-conformances and support corrective action processesWork closely with production and engineering teams to maintain quality standardsSupport internal and external audits where requiredWhat We're Looking ForProven experience in CMM programming (essential)Experience using Keyence measurement systems (highly desirable)Strong understanding of engineering drawings and GD&TPrevious experience within aerospace manufacturing advantageous but not essentialConfident using inspection equipment and completing quality reportsHigh attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solvingWant to know more about the role?
