Due to continued growth across the region, we are looking to appoint an experienced Small Works Manager to deliver fast-paced, high-quality small works projects (up to £85k) across the North and North Midlands.This role will focus on fire detection, CCTV and access control projects, managing works from enquiry through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest standards.What's On OfferCompetitive salaryQuarterly performance-based bonusCompany vehicle (wide range of fleet options)Flexible working arrangements26 days holiday plus bank holidaysOption to buy or sell up to 5 additional daysGenerous pension scheme (up to 10% employer contribution)Healthcare, dental, optical plansStructured career development within a stable and growing businessThe Role As Small Works Manager, you will take full ownership of multiple small projects, coordinating clients, engineers and subcontractors to ensure smooth and profitable delivery.Key responsibilities include:Managing client enquiries and producing quotations for fire and security worksCarrying out site surveys to understand technical requirementsFinancial forecasting, invoicing and pipeline managementProactive use of CRM systems (Salesforce experience desirable)Working alongside regional Account Managers to achieve financial targetsManaging projects from quotation through to installation and commissioningOverseeing variation management, quality checks and H&S compliancePreparing risk and method statementsManaging subcontractors and engineers on siteEnsuring high levels of customer satisfaction throughout deliveryWhat We're Looking ForProven experience in a similar Small Works / Projects role within fire and/or securityStrong knowledge of fire systems (including current BS 5839 standards)Good understanding of CCTV and access control systemsExperience in financial forecasting, reporting and pipeline growthAbility to meet and exceed agreed sales targetsSubcontractor management experience (operational & financial)Project management and commissioning experience advantageousStrong customer-facing and communication skillsFull UK driving licenceIf you think you are good fit for this role, please reach out and Rob Carney from V7 Recruitment will be in touch with more details.V7 Recruitment is an equal opportunities employer and does not discriminate on the grounds of age, disability, gender, gender reassignment, marriage or civil partnership, pregnancy or maternity, race, religion or belief, sex, or sexual orientation.
