Auditor – FMCG Supplier & Food ManufacturingAre you an Auditor with experience in food manufacturing, FMCG, or retail supplier environments looking for your next challenge?Please note: This role requires experience within food or FMCG manufacturing. Applications from other sectors will not be considered.Our client works across food, hardlines, and textiles, partnering with major retailers to deliver private-label and branded products across the UK and Europe. This role offers excellent variety and the opportunity to directly influence supplier standards and performance.The RoleYou will work closely with UK and EU manufacturing suppliers to ensure compliance with retailer standards, food safety requirements, and technical expectations.Key responsibilities include:Onboarding new manufacturing suppliers (gap analysis, risk assessments, non-conformances)Supporting suppliers with audits and retailer inspection readinessManaging audit schedules and corrective action plans (CAPA)Driving technical, ethical, and food safety compliance improvementsSupporting customers during site visits and resolving audit issuesWhat We're Looking ForEssentialAuditor experience within food manufacturing, FMCG, or retail supplier environmentsKnowledge of UK retailer standards / supplier complianceStrong communication and relationship-building skillsWillingness to travel across the UK and Europe (approx. one week per month)DesirableLead Auditor qualificationFood Safety Level 3This role is ideal for someone who enjoys autonomy, travel, and building strong supplier relationships across multiple product categories.Not suitable for financial auditors or non-manufacturing sectors.If you'd like to make a real impact across supplier performance while broadening your FMCG experience, we'd love to hear from you.
