You'll work closely with senior stakeholders and site-based teams to ensure legal, customer, and third-party standards are consistently achieved, while driving a culture of continuous improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesChampion food safety, legality, and compliance standards across all operationsPlan, lead, and close internal and external audits, ensuring ongoing audit readinessOwn and develop core technical systems, including QMS, internal auditing programmes, pest control, and quality reporting toolsReview and interpret compliance data, complaints, and supplier performance to identify risks, trends, and improvement opportunitiesLead ethical, environmental, and social compliance activities, supporting broader ESG objectivesManage packaging compliance, including EPR reporting and recyclability assessmentsWork collaboratively with operations, supply chain, commercial, and technical teams to resolve issues and improve processesBuild strong working relationships with customers, suppliers, and regulatory bodiesLead, coach, and develop a small Quality and Compliance teamAbout YouDegree qualified in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related disciplineAt least three years' experience within the food industry, ideally in a compliance or technical leadership roleConfident and credible communicator, comfortable influencing at all levelsPrevious experience managing or mentoring team membersHACCP Level 3 +Experience with GFSI/BRC standards, ESG frameworks, or technical system implementation would be advantageousIf you're looking for a role where you can truly influence standards, lead change, and make a lasting impact within a progressive food business, we'd be keen to hear from you.
