SEN Teaching Assistant Primary School Redbridge Location: Redbridge, East London Start Date: ASAP Contract Type: Full-Time, Long-Term About the Role Destination Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Redbridge. This full-time role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs and helping them thrive in a structured and nurturing environment. You will work closely with the class teacher, SENCo, and wider support staff to provide tailored support that meets each pupils individual needs. The role may involve 1:1 or small group support, assisting pupils with ASD, ADHD, speech and language needs, or social, emotional, and mental health challenges. The school promotes an inclusive ethos and encourages collaboration to ensure every child reaches their potential. Key Responsibilities Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN. Support the implementation of EHCPs and personalised learning plans. Assist pupils with communication, emotional regulation, and social development. Encourage positive behaviour and promote inclusion within the classroom. Adapt learning resources to meet individual needs. Work collaboratively with teachers, SEN staff, and external professionals. A genuine passion for inclusive education. Relevant SEN training or qualifications are desirable but not essential.
