Working on behalf of our client based in Wrexham, we are currently recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Technician on a permanent basis.As part of their maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our plant and machinery. You will work with PLCs, instrumentation, electronic drives, and AC/DC motors, diagnosing faults and implementing improvements to keep production running smoothly.Key Duties:Maintain and repair electrical systems, large AC/DC motors, instrumentation, and electronic drivesDiagnose faults using software and testing equipmentFollow machine and plant lock-off proceduresConduct risk assessments and work safely in line with health 'safety regulationsDevelop and implement modifications to improve reliability of plant and machineryCollaborate effectively with manufacturing and maintenance teamsRead and interpret technical drawingsPerform lifting and handling of machinery using correct equipment and techniquesUse MS Office or equivalent for reporting and documentationRequirements:Completed a recognised industrial apprenticeship in Electrical MaintenanceTime-served electrical maintenance engineer with significant industrial experienceBTEC/ONC level in Electrical, or Electronic Engineering, or proven experienceStrong practical skills and a proactive, self-starter attitudeAbility to work under pressure and without direct supervisionWhat our client can offer in return:£48,2534 on 4 off - (7am-7pm / 7pm–7am)Every 10 weeks or 7 blocks on, there is an 18 day breakThere are 5 x 18 day breaks within the rostered yearChristmas shutdown26 days holiday per annumHealthcare cash plan scheme for dental, opticians etc.EE Perks mobile discountsYes Share SchemeCycle to Work SchemeCompetitive Defined Contributory Pension
