With a secured pipeline of major developments stretching to 2030 and beyond, they are delivering some of the largest and most technically complex construction projects currently under construction in Europe.Operating with a strong senior leadership structure and established commercial governance, the business offers long term career progression, international mobility and exposure to flagship hyper-scale data centre builds.The Role This is a senior Commercial Manager position on a large scale data centre construction project with opportunities in Ireland and major cities across Europe.Reporting to the Commercial Lead, you will take full ownership of commercial performance on site. You will drive cost control, procurement strategy, financial reporting and contractual governance across a fast track, high value mission critical project.You will lead and develop the on site commercial team while working closely with project directors, construction managers and the client to ensure the project is delivered profitably and in line with programme objectives.This opportunity is being advertised in Ireland for experienced Commercial Managers and Senior Quantity Surveyors who are open to working on major European data centre projects with a structured expat package.Key Responsibilities:Lead all commercial and procurement functions on a large scale data centre projectImplement and maintain strong cost control and budget management processesPrepare and present detailed commercial reports to senior leadershipDevelop procurement strategies aligned with programme and cost objectivesManage subcontractor procurement, negotiations and contract administrationOversee valuations, variations, final accounts and cash flow forecastingIdentify commercial risks and implement mitigation strategiesEnsure contractual compliance and protection of commercial interestsSupport accurate client billing and financial reportingPromote best practice commercial management across the project teamAbout YouDegree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or a related construction discipline10 years plus experience in a Commercial Manager or senior commercial roleStrong background in construction, engineering, infrastructure or mission critical projectsProven experience leading commercial teams on high value buildsExcellent knowledge of cost management, procurement and contract administrationComfortable operating in fast paced, technically complex project environmentsStrong negotiation, reporting and stakeholder management skillsAdvanced proficiency in Excel and commercial management systemsData centre, energy, pharmaceutical or industrial construction experience is advantageousWhat’s on OfferSalary €110,000 to €130,000 depending on experienceBenefitsTax free living away allowance paid in addition to salarySingle occupancy accommodation including utilitiesAttractive expat tax incentives subject to eligibilityRotation with regular return flights includedIn country transport providedLong term secured pipeline of European data centre projectsClear progression within an established international contractorWhy ApplyThis is an opportunity to join the commercial leadership team on one of Europe’s largest construction programmes.
