JOB TITLE: Legal Counsel – Major Infrastructure Programme PQE REQUIRED: 4+ LOCATION: Birmingham THE ROLE: An organisation delivering a nationally significant infrastructure programme is seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to provide high-quality commercial and contractual legal advice across a complex portfolio of work.This role will support internal stakeholders by advising on a wide range of commercial, construction and procurement matters, helping to secure robust contractual outcomes and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations. The Legal Counsel will work with minimal supervision and play a key role in managing legal risk across high-value projects.Key responsibilities include:Drafting, reviewing and negotiating high-value and complex construction and commercial contractsAdvising on procurement, contract management and statutory obligationsSupporting the resolution of contractual claims and disputes, including managing external legal advisers where requiredContributing to reports and briefings for senior stakeholders to support effective decision‑makingWorking collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams and promoting inclusive ways of workingABOUT YOU:Qualified solicitor or barristerStrong experience in contract and/or procurement law, ideally within construction, infrastructure or major projectsComfortable advising senior stakeholders and working autonomouslyProven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality legal advice in a fast‑paced environmentHOW TO APPLY: Contact Pasquale Agatiello at eNL on 0121 454 1004 or email with your CV, or simply call for a confidential discussion. eNL will never share your CV with a third party without your express permission.
