The RoleSt Raphael's Hospice is searching for aClinical Directorwho is available as soon as possible, to provide strategic leadership and oversight of all hospice clinical services, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, safe, and person-centred palliative and end-of-life care. The postholder is responsible for clinical governance and the operational performance of services, ensuring they meet the needs of the diverse Outer London population, comply with CQC standards, and align with national and local (ICS-level) priorities. The Clinical Director works collaboratively with the Medical Director, who provides senior medical leadership and expertise. About YouYou will be an inspiring clinical leader who is passionate about delivering outstanding palliative and end-of-life care. Registered healthcare practitioner with a licence to practise. Significant senior experience in palliative medicine, oncology, general medicine, or a closely related field. Strong understanding of CQC requirements, clinical governance, and quality improvement. Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and foster collaborative, compassionate culture. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective clinical and system-wide partnerships. Skilled communicator able to build relationships across sectors. Experience in a hospice or specialist palliative care environment. Experience of collaborating with ICS structures, commissioners, and London-based services. Understanding of Outer London health system pressures and population health needs.
