The global team invests on behalf of a global client base that includes governments, corporations, institutional investors, and a growing UNHW investor group.The DWS Private Infrastructure business (“DWS Infrastructure”), acquires and manages Debt and Equity investments in businesses that provide essential Infrastructure services in the transport, energy, utilities, digital, circular economy and healthcare sectors. With investment teams located in Europe and the US, the business has a global footprint and is focused on managing infrastructure portfolios that can meet the needs of institutional investors and private clients worldwide. The division has funds under management of approximately €15 billion.DWS Infrastructure manages two strategies targeting private equity investments in European infrastructure companies: the “Pan European Infrastructure Fund (“PEIF”)” series and “Sustainable Growth Infrastructure Fund (“SGIF”)”. PEIF invests in core plus infrastructure in the mid‑cap size bracket and SGIF is a value‑add strategy, providing growth capital to lower mid‑cap infrastructure companies who are seeking to scale their sustainable business models.Your responsibilities As an AVP / VP within the Infrastructure investments team your role will focus on several key areas:Fund performance, investor reporting and investor queries on fund performanceSupport on transaction structuring for acquisitions, add‑ons, disposalsFund operations and Luxembourg platformFund cash flows management and fund facilitySupport on new product developmentIn particular, you will be responsible for:Reviewing quarterly investor reports and Fund metrics for each Fund including detailed review of asset metricsParticipate in the set‑up of acquisition / investment structuresDetermine the most appropriate accounting treatment for new acquisition and share the final workings with the administratorsDevise funding for asset acquisition and add‑ons / follow‑on investmentsMaintain and establish relationships with independent directors, independent valuers and other key relationshipsMaintain co‑investment and carried interest calculations across each FundForecasting cashflows and managing Fund models at each Fund levelExecution of the fund facility for each FundExecution of co‑invest structures including working out the allocation across of funds / repatriation mechanicsWe are looking forMotivated team member with strong attention to detailStrong interpersonal skills with flexibility to work independentlyHighly collaborative and able to work efficiently and effectively in both roleAbility to proactively communicate issuesAbility to translate complex situation into a succinct action pointsAbility to work to tight deadlinesACA with PQE of several yearsExperience in Infrastructure and / or Private EquityUnderstanding of fund’s LPA, tax, legal and regulatory environmentStrong working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPointWhat we’ll offer you At DWS we’re serious about diversity, equity and creating an inclusive culture where colleagues can be themselves and it’s important to us that you enjoy coming to work - feeling healthy, happy and rewarded.
