This is your chance to kick-start an exciting career while studying for a Civil Engineering degree at Coventry University.What You'll Be DoingAs an Apprentice Civil Engineer, you'll play a key role in ensuring our earthworks are delivered right, first time, every time.You'll work on a rotational pattern of 3 weeks on site and 1 week at university, giving you the perfect balance of academic learning and real-world experience.During your apprenticeship, you'll grow into the role of a Blackwell Engineer by:Setting out and surveying earthworks using advanced GNSS technologyReviewing 3D machine control models and technical drawingsWorking closely with site teams to plan safe, efficient construction methodsPreparing essential documentation, including RAMS and QA plansSupporting site management with short-term planning and commercial tasksThis role is hands-on gaining meaningful engineering experience from day one.What We're Looking ForTo get started, you'll need:A-levels in Maths, Further Maths, or Physics making you eligible to join Coventry University's Civil Engineering Apprenticeship (Level 4 or Level 6 BEng)A full UK driving licenceMeet the criteria to join the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) as a student memberA UK citizen or holding permanent leave to remainHNC, CSCS Black Card, or SMSTS would be beneficialWhy Choose Blackwell?Earn a salary while completing your degreeBe mentored by experienced engineers who want to see you succeedContribute to real, high-impact projects shaping the UK's infrastructureJoin a team that puts safety, quality, and innovation at the heart of everything
