Reed Education is working closely with a welcoming primary school in the Wakefield (WF2) area who are seeking a high-quality Class Teacher to lead a mixed Year 1/2 class through to the end of the Summer Term. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can provide stability, structure and engaging learning for a class with high behavioural needs. Role Overview - Position: Primary Teacher - Year 1/2 - Location: Wakefield (WF2) - Start Date: Easter 2026 - Days: Wednesday-Friday, with full-time (Mon–Fri) for the first 2 weeks for handover and class familiarisation - Contract: Until end of Summer Term (minimum) - Planning Responsibilities: Yes - with half-day PPA provided What We’re Looking For We are seeking a strong, resilient and adaptable Teacher who can deliver high-quality lessons while managing a classroom with varied and sometimes challenging behaviour.
