Commercial Contracts Manager – Specialist Vehicle Manufacturing – Cheshire – Up to £100k DOELocation: Sandbach, Cheshire (On-site, 5 days per week)Salary: £DOE senior-level responsibilityCompany OverviewAn established, engineering-led specialist vehicle conversion business operating across emergency services, defence, and commercial vehicle platforms.The company delivers complex, low-volume, high-specification vehicle programmes for Ambulance, Police, Fire, Military and commercial clients across the UK and internationally, and is continuing to scale its manufacturing and operational capability.Operating in a highly regulated environment, the business places strong emphasis on quality, delivery, and commercial control across all projects.The RoleThis is a senior, commercially focused management role responsible for overseeing customer contracts from project launch through to delivery across multiple vehicle programmes.Reporting directly to the Group CEO, you will act as the commercial lead across live projects, working closely with Production, Engineering and Supply Chain to ensure programmes are delivered on time, to specification, and within margin.The role is fully on-site and suited to someone comfortable operating in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where multiple contracts run in parallel.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn customer contracts from project start to completionAct as commercial interface between customers, production and internal stakeholdersManage Bills of Materials against specification, quality and margin targetsWork closely with suppliers to ensure materials and components are delivered on time and to standardTrack project performance through agreed KPIsEnsure factory process flows are optimised for delivery and efficiencySupport cost control, margin protection and commercial reportingDrive continuous improvement across project delivery and operational performanceAbout YouProven experience in contract or commercial management within a manufacturing or assembly environmentBackground in vehicle conversion or complex build environments highly desirableBusiness, Finance or Quantity Surveying qualification preferredComfortable managing multiple live contracts simultaneouslyStrong commercial awareness with hands-on operational mindsetConfident working cross-functionally with production, engineering and supply chainDriven, accountable and comfortable in a senior on-site role (no hybrid)What's on OfferSenior management position reporting directly to Group CEOKey commercial leadership role within a growing specialist manufacturing businessExposure to complex, regulated vehicle programmesCompetitive salary package for the right candidateOpportunity to shape commercial processes and operational performanceInterested?Apply via LinkedIn or send your CV directly to for a confidential conversation.
