Salter Grange has partnered with a premier international Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation contractor with a 50-year legacy of engineering excellence. Having recently joined forces with a global construction leader, our client is entering a phase of unprecedented growth across Europe and the UK. We are seeking an ambitious and strategic Business Development Manager to join their London office.This is a pivotal role focused on expanding their footprint in the UK market, specifically targeting high-growth sectors such as Data Centres, Life Sciences, and large-scale Commercial fit-outs.You will be the face of the company in London, bridging the gap between technical delivery teams and a blue-chip client base. Your mission will be to identify new opportunities, nurture long-term partnerships, and drive sustainable financial growth.Business Development Manager Key Responsibilities:Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy focused on securing high-value M&E projects across the UK.Build and maintain deep-rooted relationships with Tier 1 main contractors, consultants, and direct clients.Collaborate with the Pre-Construction and Estimating teams to manage the RFI/RFP process, ensuring the value proposition is clearly articulated and technically sound.Represent the firm at industry-leading conferences, networking events, and client presentations to enhance brand visibility.Maintain an accurate CRM pipeline and provide regular reports to the Group Head of Business Development and the Senior Leadership Team.Business Development Manager Requirements:Minimum 5–7 years of experience in Business Development or Sales within the Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) or Tier 1 Construction sectors.The ability to understand and communicate complex engineering solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.A degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.If you are a driven professional ready to take the next step with a highly respected international firm, we want to hear from you.
