Design Manager – FacadesLocation: LeicesterI am currently recruiting on behalf of a specialist façade and cladding contractor delivering complex remediation schemes across the UK.They are seeking a Design Manager to lead drawing production and coordinate façade design delivery across multiple projects.The RoleThis is a hands-on design management position focused on coordination, dimensional accuracy and buildability.You will:Manage an in-house team of designersCoordinate specialist façade subcontract designersOversee production of technical and construction drawingsConduct site visits where as-built drawings are unavailableEnsure dimensional accuracy prior to fabrication and order placementLiaise with Building Control and BSR where requiredSupport remediation proposals and technical solutionsThis role requires a balance of office-based design management and practical site interface.Ideal BackgroundProven experience in façade / cladding / EWI design coordinationStrong knowledge of remediation worksExperience managing internal design teamsAbility to coordinate specialist façade packagesUnderstanding of regulatory requirementsCommercial awareness relating to procurement and order placementProficiency in AutoCAD (Revit advantageous but not essential)Why Apply?Join a specialist remediation contractor with a strong pipelineLeadership responsibility within an established teamVaried role including site interface and technical managementExposure to high-profile compliance-driven projectsIf interested, apply now and contact Luke Thompson for more information.
