Project Design EngineerFinglasSalary €65,000 approx.We are hiring for our client, a growing Irish-owned specialist in end-of-line packaging systems and materials handling, who are seeking to appoint a Project Design Engineer. Working as part of a small but highly skilled team, you will take ownership of automation projects from concept through to installation and handover.Top 3 Things to Know About this Job:North Dublin, office-based role with occasional client site visitsExciting engineering projects combining conveyors, robotics, and automation systemsExcellent opportunity for career progression within a growing Irish-owned businessThe Role:Lead and manage automation projects from design through to commissioning and handoverPlan and coordinate workloads for a small team of designers and installation engineersLiaise with clients throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring delivery to agreed scope and timescalesWork closely with procurement to ensure materials and components are ordered on timeOversee technical drawings, documentation, and scheduling to maintain smooth deliverySupport testing, commissioning, and sign-off processes, ensuring systems meet specification and safety standardsCollaborate with internal teams and management to drive quality and project successThe Person:Engineering background (Electrical, Automation, Mechanical or similar)Experience working with automation systems, conveyors, robotics, or bespoke machineryComfortable leading small teams and liaising with clients and suppliersNFQ Level 7+ qualification in Engineering or equivalentFamiliarity with AutoCAD/SolidWorksNext Steps - Why Hunter Savage:For further information and to apply for this role contact Zoey Rooney at Hunter Savage via email .
