This is a brand new role and a fantastic opportunity to join a respected, growth orientated business and shape this role which will focus on identifying new opportunities, engaging prospective customers, and building a high‐quality pipeline for the sales team. This role will be office based from my client's site in Gateshead.About the role:Working closely with the Head of the brand, you will take full "cradle to grave" ownership of the lead generation process. This role is all about proactively identifying project opportunities, engaging prospective customers, and building a high-quality pipeline that feeds the external sales team.Proactively identify and research project leadsMake outbound calls to introduce products and qualify opportunitiesHandle inbound enquiries via phone and emailMaintain accurate CRM records and track all leads through the cycleKeep long‐term project leads warm and follow up at key stagesProduce simple weekly reports on pipeline activity and progressSupport sales and marketing with data, updates and admin tasksExperience / Skills3+ years' experience in lead generation, internal sales, BD or telemarketingConfident communicator, comfortable with cold callingStrong Excel and CRM skillsDetail‐oriented, organised, proactiveExperience in a product‐led or project‐driven environment is ideal
